Our Purpose/Passion: 

At Wellborn Baptist Church our purpose and passion is Connecting People to Jesus Christ our Risen Lord and Savior.

Our Goals:

 Goal #1 Provide a safe place for all seekers to learn about Jesus Christ and His love for them. 

Goal # 2 Encourage all disciples of Jesus to grow in their relationship with Christ through worship, Bible study, Christian community, godly stewardship, 

 neighborly service, witness, and prayer.

Our Values:

1. Sunday Morning Worship Service

5. Missions

• Our church family is affiliated with the Brazos Valley Baptist Network, the Baptist General Convention of Texas, the Southern Baptist Convention of Texas, and the Southern Baptist Convention. 

1. We give 7% of our income to the Cooperative Program.

2. We give 2% of our income to the BVBN.

3. We give 1% of our income to the TAMU BSM.

How to Join WBC

An invitation to come forward is given during the Sunday Morning Worship Service for those wanting to present themselves as candidates for membership in      this church. Any person may offer himself/herself as a candidate for membership and all such candidates shall be presented to the church at any regular    

    worship service for membership in any of the following ways:

1. By profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through the believer’s baptism. 

2. By the promise of a letter of recommendation from another Baptist church of like faith and practice.

3. By statement of faith: I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I have been baptized as a believer by immersion in another church of like faith and practice.

4. By scriptural baptism from another denomination.
